At Currier Drug we are committed to providing you with medications that meet your unique health needs. Sometimes, patients require unique medications, tailor made for them. This process is referred to as compounding and it is necessary for a variety of reasons, including:
Anyone can request medication to be compounded here, but like any medication, we require a written or verbal prescription from your provider
Compounded prescriptions generally range from the minimum of $50 and up, depending on the cost of the Active ingredient. If possible we also offer deals like, 3 months worth of medication for the price of 2. Just ask one of our compounding team members for clarification and see if your medication qualifies.
We will try to bill it to your main drug plan. If that does not work out, we will provide you with all the necessary information for you to manually send it to your drug plan to see if the claim qualifies.
Sometimes treating your illness requires a more personal or different perspective. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact a compounding associate at 785-626-3237.
